How it all began
An adventure that began by chance
4U Madrid Walking Tour was born out of chance, circumstance and, above all, a love for this city and its history. What began as an idea among a few people who are passionate about Madrid has grown into a project that has already walked with more than 120,000 travellers.
Our tours go beyond giving historical information. Our tours go beyond historical facts. They are a creative, honest immersion in the essence of the city: we want every walk to become a memory, not a list of dates.
You will find us every day in Puerta del Sol, opposite ZapShop, with the purple umbrella held high.

What to expect from a walk with us
Pay what you wish
We don't set a price. You book without paying anything up front and, at the end of the tour, each person gives what feels right to them, based on the experience and on what they can afford.
Small groups
We keep our groups small so you can hear properly, ask questions without feeling rushed, and walk through the centre at a comfortable pace.
Local guides
We know the nooks and stories that don't come out in the guides, because Madrid is the city in which we live, not an agenda that we have memorized.
Spanish and English
We run our tours in both languages, with the same warmth and the same attention to detail in each.
