We'll meet at Puerta del Sol, at number 6 entrance, right in front of ZapShop. Look for us by the purple umbrella.
Puerta del Sol is large and usually crowded, so it's best to be specific: we are in the portal number 6, on the sidewalk opposite the shoe store ZapShop.
We always carry a purple umbrella Up high, in the open, rain or shine. It's the quickest way to find each other in the crowd.
We recommend arriving a few five or ten minutes before of the tour time. This gives you time to find us calmly and we leave on time.
It is the best-connected point in Madrid: practically all public transport passes through here.

Subway or Commuter RailBy metro, take line 8 to Nuevos Ministerios and then change to line 10 and then line 3. By Cercanías (commuter rail), take line C-1 to Nuevos Ministerios or Atocha and then the metro to Sol.
The tour lasts about two and a quarter hours walking through the center, with cobblestone streets in some sections.
Madrid is sweltering from May to September. A bottle of water and some sun protection are always welcome.
The tour will still go ahead even if it rains. Bring an umbrella or raincoat in case the weather turns bad.
